A white Greenland

The flight to Vegas was excellent. The last sight of UK land was of Harris and Lewis and then it was the open sea until we flew over the tip of Iceland and on to Greenland. Initially there was substantial cloud cover over Greenland but suddenly I could make out the amazing view you can see here where the sleek and shiny snow covered ground was interrupted only by the contoured higher mountains and then you can see quite clearly the edge of the next weather front to the left.

Bright blue sunny skies greeted me in Vegas and I was whisked away to see the littlest grand daughter still in NICU and what a difference to her from my last visit. Eventually we went home where baby L was being fed and it was wonderful to see what a beautiful little baby she has grown into. I was still in the clothes from my journey so didn't have any cuddle time with either baby but went to bed with a happy warm feeling.
