The Kinks revisited

I can still remember in the 60s the dances that were held at the Winter Gardens in Eastbourne were some of the best bands around played,the Kinks among them.
So visiting the west end show brought back memoirs,and although the show is from Ray Davies point of view it does justice to the depth of his early song writing and the sheer power of their stage performance.
The show is really brought to life by the performance of George Mcguire as Dave Davies ,Rays younger brother.
I enjoyed the show although you felt that they were holding back on the development of the portrayal of Ray Davies , its worth going to see for George Mcquire,s performance alone,pure rock an roll!
