Turn right for Mt Doom

I did the Tongariro crossing in gale force winds and fog. So none of the epic scenery the walk is famous for turned up. And I couldn't see Mt Doom for the pea soup that was surrounding me. My hair froze and my clothes froze yet it was still one of the best walks I've done in this country.

Probably be better with a bit less weather though.
