Hunker Doon

Storm gusts and rain outside. I think I hear a tree frog croaking? Could it be this late in the season? Lots of branches and debris on roads. Power outages in many areas, especially up island. Hope fellow islanders are hunkered down safe from falling trees

Cozy under blankie by the fireplace listening to wind bend trees outside. Sizzling sounds and delicious smells of ribs roasting in the oven. Just received message from friend confirming invite to potlatch- I am deeply honoured by the amazing privilege and very excited to be going.
