I like how blip gives you license to go to a talk/reception at the (sniff-sniff) national committee on us-china relations, ignore everybody for a little while, and take pictures. Though I did meet my quota of talking to 3 strangers, 4 if you count the speaker (who kind of alienated me by allocating me exactly one minute for asking/answering a question)--Washington at its most personable. And speaking of Washington...I think i'll just go quietly drink myself into a stupor until 2016.
