Our little mermaid

Credit for this photo of our daughter goes to Miss D - a beloved teacher at our daughter's school.
She sent this to me with the tag - the little mermaid.
I cannot think of any more perfect photo of my daughter in her favourite princess mode! Thank you Miss D!!
Whilst I struggle with some of the negative female role models in Disney including Ariel, I am glad that my daughter sees their positive and inspiring qualities too - Ariel is my favourite because she helps the sea creatures. Her best friend is a fish who's always scared but she helps him so things.
