Highlights

I had my hair done again today. We (my lovely experimental colourist, Stevie, and I) went for a dark violet with chunks of teal highlights. We’ll see how well it stays this time. Might feature in a future blip… might not.

Unfortunately, ever since my chiropractor appointment on Tuesday, a new area of my lower back has been absolutely killing me, so despite going back this afternoon and getting a spot of therapy on it, I found it hard to search for a blip as I might normally. The photos that I like usually involve me squatting, kneeling, sitting or lying as low as I can to get the right angle of something and that just isn’t going to happen at the moment. So, while sitting on a chair at the hairdressers, waiting for my hair to finish evolving, I got out my little point-and-shoot (since I live in Texas, I should probably clarify that, by that, I mean my tiny camera, not a small hand gun). I took a quick shot of the row of hairdryers in front of me. I’ve always liked their unusual look and the pattern they form. When I got home, I wasn’t completely happy with photo so I started playing around with it in Lightroom and PicsArt and ended up with this pattern.
