Olé

Our first full day in Texas got off to a very relaxing slow start. I slept until 10:30, though Cynthia was up long before me, talking with her sister, M.

We all eventually got out of the house and made it to the nearby IKEA. It's enormous -- this is Texas! The first stop was at the cafe, for coffee and a snack. We didn't buy very much -- you can't get much in a roll-aboard. On the way back to the house, we stopped for an excellent Mexican meal at this restaurant.

When we got got home I enjoyed assembling the small utility storage cart M had bought, just before M's daughter dropped in for a visit.

We've all talked ourselves to a standstill, and it's bedtime. I now understand how C and M can so easily talk for two hours on the phone!
