Lavender light

It's been a lovely sunny day - perfect for Field Day at school. The students bought a variety of pets to be judged and paraded - lambs, goats, calves, pigs, horse, chooks, birds, dogs etc. They all had a lot of fun, and it was great seeing a great turn out of family and members of the public.

I took this photo while the sun was shinning down on the lavender this afternoon. I love the bokeh and the lovely colours generated in the background.
