Imperfect

Today, I heard Emma Bass, photographer, speak about her work as a commercial photographer and her art photography too, featuring the beautiful work from her recently pyblished book entitled "Imperfect".
Emma spoke of the long history of capturing flora and is currently inspired to portray flora in the natural condition , from bud to decay.
Her images are inspirational.
Following her address we were invited to arrange flowers from a rich selection of Spring blooms and then photograph them. Emma photographs them also with her Cnon 5D MkIII.
I'd been told cameras were not required today , so all I had was my iPhone!
An interesing 2 hours.
