Granny Flat

This last photo from Khumbu is of a lovely grandma outside her tiny room attached to her son's house. The children go to see her every morning before they go to school. You can see her daughter-in-law who has just finished milking the cow on the left. Perhaps the most striking thing is the cow pats drying on the walls to be used as fuel in the future. These are carefully stacked in the dry of the toilet shed for the winter. Nothing goes to waste in this harsh environment.
