...Ray was out and about with fellow veterans on the sidewalks of Kalamunda today.
Along with two veteran age Landrovers decked out in camouflage they were doing a fine job of encouraging the locals to learn and remember.

I learned today that the medals on his 'left chest' are those awarded to him and those on the right were those of his great grandfather (top right) from WW1 and those of his grandfather from WW2.
I also learned that the coloured bands and stripes all mean different things and that these are replica medals, the originals too precious to wear.
