Two Bridges

A bright day with occasional sunshine.

The saga of the last few weeks is slowly coming to an end. This morning the District Nurse took out the 'running stitch' i.e. one long stitch which, when she cut one end off she then was able to just pull the whole thing out very easily. The wound is looking very good although I have a feeling the infection is still around - so lots more antibiotics still to come.

Our car was delivered to us from the garage and is looking very good - they even fitted 4 new Vauxhall wheel trims. The garage and Direct Line have been outstanding throughout.

On our way home from the Dentist this afternoon we stopped in a layby which overlooks the Tay and the two bridges. It is a spot beside the Docks which I have not taken a photo from before. The light looked good and certainly brightened up the scene. The houses on the left are part of the village of Newport.
