Going home

About 5 minutes before we boarded the train at Brussels this chap turned up and commenced his cartoon drawing on a huge white board. I believe it is something to do with the 20th anniversary of the Eurostar service. Be great to see the finished work but we had to board our train.

We travelled back with an older couple who are over from Florida and it turns out that they are the uncle and aunt of Johnson Beharry, the brave soldier who was awarded the Victoria Cross for his act of bravery in Iraq in 2004. It made for a a very interesting and enjoyable journey back home.

I will be catching up with comments this weekend. Thank you all once again for the hearts and stars on my Bruges blips. It is a city that really lends itself to photography.
