St Mary's Cathedral, Edinburgh.

Visited the Cathedral, in Palmerston Place this afternoon to see Alison Kinnaird's glass sculpture 'Unknown' commemorating lives lost in war, before it begins it's tour of the rest of Scotland.

Incredibly moving, the sculpture also represents 'the thousands and thousands of ordinary people, casualties of conflict, dismissed and dehumanised in the phrase -

'collateral damage'.
