High and dry

The rain kept off as we walked along the new path way from Blakeney towards Cley. As you can see the tide was out.
The banking has been rebuilt after last years storms and you can now walk the coast path once again.
Amazing cloud formations, and then it came quite dark except for a narrow flash of sunlight, which I just managed to capture in this shot. View Large and you may see two white egrets.
The South West wind was so Strong! Going was fine as it blew us along, but returning wasn't quite so easy. Had to hold on to MrC to stay upright!

A nice cream tea in The Moorings was just what we needed.
Any cobwebs certainly got blown away!

Hope the weather will be fine tomorrow evening as we are going to the village bonfire.
Closed to traffic, so we have a mile to walk. ( Must remember the torch to find our way back!)
