Poppies at the tower

A day of work, rest and play. Struggled to get going this morning. Haven't achieved as much as I wanted, I felt very tired and needed a bit of rest.

Managed to catch half an hour when it wasn't raining to go down and try some different shots of the poppies. Easier said than done and I am disappointed with my results. I will try again tomorrow. The display in church is in progress and I resisted the temptation to go in for a preview, I want to wait and see the whole effect tomorrow.
