Remembering

The children at Sparrows Church of England Nursery have been making poppies to remember.

It's hard though to explain to 2 and 3 year olds in a developmentally appropriate way that we are remembering a massive war where thousands of young men died to defend our freedom. But we thought it was important that they were told why we are wearing poppies and why the children were making them.
