The contemplation of Mons

This the second photo (15th September) I've taken of the canon Mons Meg and for some reason I keep imbuing her with human like characteristics even though she is clearly an inanimate object. She's definitely an object with presence, being so large. After I took this photo I kept imagining how much she would have seen and been able to talk about in her lifetime...if a canon could tell a story!
