Falling red petals...

This is the Remembrance installation in Trafalgar Square in London - a glass case where every few minutes blasts of air see the poppies circle the soldier inside. I liked the way the petals had gathered in his arms at rest.

I thought a lot about my Grandad (WW1) and Dad (WW2) today. They both made it through but I thought a lot about how we remember and commemorate all that was given and how we do that truthfully and with gratitude.
