Little Mell Fell

Just had time for a very quick jaunt this morning and, rather perversely, I was delighted to see that Mell Fell was covered in low cloud. It fitted well with some lovely recent conversations with a friend about Antony Gormley's work and, in particular, his exhibition Blind Light. All hugely resonant. It struck me that I latched onto the triangulation point for a blip - the only solid external object firmly grounded and, not only that, being such a symbol of navigation in the world. Ullswater and the eastern fells are out there, believe me, but you will have to take it on trust!
