Cora's Story,
Cora's Story,
She came into our lives 7 and a half years ago.
All she had was a collar, a tube of eye ointment and a vets lead.
Alan and I fell in love with her the minute that we saw her.
She came running to greet us, with a lampshade collar on her head, and her right inner eyelid sewn up and held with a button on her head. She had an eye ulcer and it took a good few weeks to heal, but she settled in with us, and became good friends with Mr Chips.
We don't know how old she was, but was older than fourteen and a half.
She has not kept very well over the last year, but never complained, and was always there to greet and meet, when you came home from work, and could be quite a bossy boots.
Heather was her little friend and they would share a story, have a wee laugh of just simply chill out.
Today she went over the Rainbow Bridge.
