Rainbow......
...... over Ebernoe!
Half day today, and I went for another tripette to Ebernoe to look for wax caps, there were plenty coming, but the ground was so wet underfoot I had to give up searching after a short while. I have to confess it amazes me how rapidly this country can go from really dry (September) to sopping wet! A lot of the rivers are already flooded and the Arun at Newbridge is right at the top of the banks and about to spill over 5 x as wide as it was last weekend!
At least the continuous rain had stopped by the time I went out, but I was treated to sunshine and showers and more than one beautiful rainbow.
Today's blip is a wonderful rainbow stretching over the woods at Ebernoe, cricket pitch in the foreground.
I might go back for another look tomorrow, only this time I will take my boots!
