It's not often you can look straight at the sun, but that's how cloudy it was this morning as we set off from Staffordshire for Devon - with a short break in Somerset. The clouds had cleared by moonrise, and what a super big yellow moon it was! (The funny pattern of the daytime sky is the effect of the car windscreen. The funny pattern on the nighttime photo is a tree tickling the moon.)

So, we're back home after ten days travel and lots of family visited: Devon - Somerset - Lincs - London - Staffs - back to Devon. Very tired and looking forward to bedtime and our lovely Tempur mattress. Good night, blipchums!
