Mono Monday Old and New

It seemed appropriate to use myself and my granddaughter for today's theme of Old and New: the 'old here is a rather ancient photo album open at a page showing (fortunately a bit hazily) photos of yours truly as a baby and toddler and the 'new' is, of course, Violet who will be 5 months old on Saturday.

My dad (who is almost visible in a couple of the photos) would have been 100 years old today. It was his ambition to reach this magnificent age but he sadly died at 93.

Apologies for being so very remiss in getting this up... I will try to do better next week!
