Jack o' lanterns

Happy Halloween to all! As it has been a tradition since I was very young carving pumpkins is a must for me at Halloween. All my friends in Scotland tell me that before the influx of North American traditions that they used to carve out turnips...sounds like torture to me! I was meant to carve two pumpkins but as usual I left it to the last minute and could only find one that was suitable. In my desperation to get a 2nd one I managed to convince a coffee shop owner to give me her already carved one as they were closing up for Halloween. I can't believe it worked! Anyway I thought it would make a better photo to have two so I was forced to be resourceful!
