Take a kid fishing

Is a catch cry to get kids out into the great outdoors. This boy whitebaiting at the Riwaka River mouth didn't need any telling. He was up to his waist in water encouraging the whitebait to swim into his net. There was a bit too much tide so his net is under water. They are probably swimming over the top. He was concentrating so hard he wouldn't have even seen us.Soon after, he upped sticks and headed over to a different spot. What a great way to spend Saturday.
The dps emag suggested we look for browns to photograph. Plenty of those here too.
