November evening

Today was such a beautiful day ! I spoke to a friend and we agreed that November is actually not such a bad month despite its widespread poor image as being "grey". It is not. There are still colourful leaves on the trees and I have always marvelled at the November sunsets: often, after a stormy and grey sky day, the clouds tear apart at sunset and let through a spotlight of mere golden sun. Today the sky was clear to begin with and golden all over...the tiny clouds really rounded up the North German plains landscape just perfectly. So, on my sunset walk, I took this shot with my phone on HDR setting.
