Pre-Dawn Fog

I was up quite early this morning.

I had to report to the Circuit Courthouse for jury duty.

First time for me ever being called for jury duty.

It all went very well, but in the end the jury trial was aborted as the parties involved decided to settle their differences without a jury.

The judge came down to the jury room and thanked all of us in the jury pool for being available to do our duty.

I hope I get the chance to do this again someday as I didn't get even a peek into the courtroom today.

Certainly getting up before early and enjoying a cup of hot coffee in the pre-dawn light was a fine treat all by itself.
