Reflecting
The background; the upper portion of Western Park across Ponsonby Road from the Cafe Byzantium, including a sculpture which is embedded in the turf as if it is part of a collapsed building.
The customer; sitting outside the Cafe Byzantium with her coffee, and her communication device. I wasn't close enough to determine what sort of smart phone, and I am presuming that it is a smart phone from the way she is looking at it.
The photographer; recording a snippet of time so that viewers from around the world can ponder about this customer on her own, her back to the sun and the road, and paying more attention to the device than to her coffee and the surrounds.
On Ponsonby Road, another cafe scene as I headed to the Wynyard corner on a longer than usual and leisurely run. On my return she had, of course, departed, and this cafe was quiet in comparison others further along Ponsonby Road. I stopped and bought the Saturday Herald at the dairy just to the right of this cafe.
