Down

Our hotel in Auckland is pretty fancy. I particularly liked the view down to the foyer; complete with Christmas tree.

We drove up to Mangawhai and had lunch with DW and UW, along with UW's sister and niece.

Mr Barking and I had a stroll on the beach; it's so beautiful there.

Back for a lovely dinner and good conversations. We're staying in Mangawhai tonight and then Auckland airport tomorrow.

It's been a pretty cruisy birthday for me. I mostly forgot that it even was my birthday. Mr Barking bought me a lovely watch and UW gave me a really pretty scarf.

I've had a lovely day.
