'Grey Skies'

A brisk walk this morning after visiting a friend.
This lane is just a couple of hundred yards away from my front door. We are lucky it still remains as developers have recently built a few hundred homes on the fields that surround it. There is, off course, nothing we can do..we all tried for years to hold it off but it was inevitable. Makes me feel very sad....lots of lovely old Oak trees were removed! Where does the wild life go when these green areas are taken?

This afternoon I went to the flicks to see ( which somehow is quite apt somehow with my above comment) the film 'Interstellar.' It's very good! Starring Matthew McConau and Anne Hathaway and directed by Christopher Nolan. With our time on Earth coming to an end, a team of explorers undertakes the most important mission in human history, travelling beyond this galaxy to discover whether mankind has a future among the stars. Very thought provoking!
