Andy playing in a local bar

Today we were a little hungover and the majority of it was spent on the beach, lazing around, reading, eating lunch and recovering.

We met a guy yesterday who ran a bar and said he was having live music on tonight so after dinner at the fab veggie place we ate in a few nights ago we strolled down there, Andy with his violin. On arrival he greeted us and promptly sat us at a table on the stage next to the band. It was a weird set up ... a house band with a compere and it was basically karaoke with a live band! They absolutely love karaoke over here.

They were very welcoming and one of the band members came to chat and another man asked Andy if he was playing and said he would sing. Andy agreed, thinking the band would play too and the guy would sing but he ended up doing a solo to a big round of applause ... funny!

He used a mic at the bar as, unfortunately, his pickup seems to be bust .... not sure how we'll get that one sorted but we'll have to try as he's hoping India will be a bit more music oriented and he'll be able to play with some bands or jam with people. Here's hoping it doesn't prove too difficult.
