It was a very damp, dark and dreary start to the day but its picking up now and the sun is desperately trying to make an appearance - hope it stays that way as we are off up to the Gliding Club later for their 'Big Bonfire Bash'.

Oh no! just heard there's more wind and rain coming our way so hope the party doesn't turn into a damp squib - never mind we'll just hang round the bonfire, get stuck into the mulled wine and hope the fireworks go off !!
