This is my gorgeously new chair and footstool that my lovely Kuifje bought me today as a very very early Christmas present...apparently they were too big to keep under the bed until Christmas morning. And not only did she buy the chair and the footstool, but also the funky little lamp - so that I can see when I am crocheting on dark winter evenings. AND she also adopted Percival, the little owl who is currently ensconced in the corner of the chair... (Technically she bought him from the garden centre, but 'adopted' sounds so much better!)

A fabulous day filled with lots of mooching around shops, laughing and chatting.
