Warm up

Katie enjoyed school today. She went to watch the staff "Bake Off" competition and got to try some of the Frozen cake that won. Also they had a visit from a fireman. She said he talked to them about things but didn't bring a fire engine. They all made a "Firefighters ID card".

After school we had a quick tea before gymnastics. She was very impressed that they got to do their warm up to Let It Go tonight. She was also pleased because she belatedly got her "birthday bumps" - on a crash mat, rather than old-school birthday bumps!

At home she settled down to read her new book from school which is all different stories from round the world, starting with the legend of how the koala came to exist. She was quite excited about it!
