My country, my rules....

I think I read that the artist Nathan Coley was inspired by a note from the King of France in the 17th Century.
A village was the centre of magical and mysterious happenings, as well as supposed miracles. The royal leader then posted a note stating, 'There will be no miracles here, by order of the King'. I love it.
