it was the south that drew the eye
Away to the west the dark clouds massed and loomed, collectively bringing the afternoon to a premature end. But it was the south that drew the eye. Here peach splays and lavender shades won the sky. I stood still in the wide wide field and shared the glorious moment with the trees and the biting wind.
