Here & There

Colour in the city

These foxgloves in Albert Park remind me of the lupins of the South Island's Mackenzie Country. Gorgeous though the lupins are down there on the braided river beds and lake-sides, they are a weed and create problems for the endemic native birds nesting on the shingle beds. Anyway, back to my urban run - a nice splash of colour and I quite like the mirroring of the shapes, the flower stems and the sky tower.

Thank you to everyone for your kind messages yesterday on my reaching 365 - it has only taken me nearly 3 years to do it !!
