Snow Down Under

MAPLES:

I know you will find this hard to believe, but on the top side of my garden shed, I have planted 3 different maples in a line. It demonstrates how, 25 years ago, I didn't have a brain in my head ! Imagine planting trees so close together ! From the left they are:
ACER palmatum Katsura,
ACER pseudoplatanus Brilliantissimum,
ACER palmatum Shigitatsu-sawa,

They are all quite beautiful but easier to define in the autumn when they take on different shades of red & russet. I have four yellow rhodo's in front of them (brain still not working !) Yellow Moon, Lemon Lodge, Butter Mint, & Saffron Queen. There is a tiny glimpse of a white Montana clematis flowering over the garden shed, middle right.
