The graduation present

This lovely bracelet has been in mum's family for many years, the origin is clouded in time, but Mum thinks it may have come from very close family friends on their trips to India, many many years ago.

It was one of Mum's favourites and rattles delightfully at the slightest movement.

Mum presented it to Alex last night as a congratulations present for her recent graduation. We were all down at her place, the first time we have been all together there for ages.

Up early (at least for some) and we were all flying in different directions again.
