Ben Lui

A backblip as we had emergency babysitting last night. we thought we wouldn't be out too long so I didn't take my laptop but in the end we didn't get home until after 1am.
However, before that we had a lovely walk up Beinn Odhar near Tyndrum. As we set out the sun was battling the clouds and mainly winning, which gave a wonderful vibrancy to the autumn grasses. across the glen the higher Ben Lui was constantly coming in and out of view - a lot of photos were taken from various points! This was actually the first, though it had to compete with some later ones for the blip.
About midday the cloud cover increased and by the time we were coming home it was raining quite hard.
We climbed this hill in May 2013 when we went on to do 4 more. (In the link today's hill is at the left and in this link the first pic is a clear view from a similar place as today's)
