B and W challenge day 4 - Airedale

It has been easy to convert to mono in the grey whilst the weather was grey and dreary. Today was more challenging.

John stayed over with some friends near Keighley after a wedding do, and so we went to collect him this morning. After a gourmet breakfast in their gorgeous house (which is like something in Homes and Gardens (no kids, no dog)) we took Lizzie for a walk to Sutton Pinnacles overlooking Keighley and the valley towards Skipton. It was a stunning morning.

This was my favourite shot, but it just doesn't work in B&W. So here you have the view across the valley from Cowling Pinnacle. And here's the view from Sutton Pinnacle.

PS I can't remember if I ran this through Silver Efex or Photomatix - one or the other and a bit of a crop.
