One Misty Moisty Morning

The summer is definitely over. Yesterday's rain followed by an overnight frost were perfect conditions to produce morning mists in the hollows. This is Aston Cantlow still shrouded, with just the church daring to look out from under the blanket, seen across the fields from Little Alne.
I've just thrown out the contents of the hanging baskets as they have been reduced to mush by the frost. The garden looks a bit bare now.
