Ostrich farms

The next port of call is Knysna which is only a short distance so went up a mountain pass, about 850 metres in height, passing through vineyards, hop growing and lots of cattle, interspersed with the odd baboon, strange but true. The mountains had cloud swirling around and when we arrived at Oudtshoorn there was brilliant sunshine and a temp of about 25C perfect. Learnt quite a bit about ostrich and had some for lunch, delicious, yes tastes a bit like.....Turkey. Somehow couldn't justify the £300 for a gorgeous handbag in a very pretty blue ostrich leather.
