At the going down of the sun.....

Managed to get a few tasks done this morning including a peer assessment and some hotel bookings. Out to the shops in Huddersfield this afternoon to buy a toaster and a chair for the study.

Fittingly, for Remembrance Sunday, these poppies have recently sprung up at Ainley Top roundabout (junction 24 M62). The roundabout received its once-in-lifetime revamp earlier this year and the poppies are growing in the disturbed earth at the side of the highway.

I just managed to get there in time to blip the poppies in the light of the setting sun.
