Comfort

Received a kind of welcome pack from Deutsche Bahn (German railway) today congratulating me on being upgraded to a 'Bahn Comfort' customer. Having earned 2000 points (effectively meaning I have spent €2000 on train tickets!) I now have the privilege of free coffee at larger station (in the event that I am EVER there early enough to avail myself of this pleasure) and to chuck people out of their seats if the train is full and I want to sit where they're sitting. I have seen this being done only once. It made me cringe. The reason I burst out laughing when I opened the envelope was not the soft strokable heart on the cover of the folder, but the fact that it was sent in a week when the train drivers are on strike, so I can't take a train anywhere, let alone in comfort!
