Had an eventful evening last night, friends birthday not all it's cracked up to be but let's just say our idea of fun isn't watching a bunch of her family from Birmingham get drunk *key the awkward silence. But any who George and I kicked off today's proceedings with a Sunday remembrance service to mark the troops that gave their lives to save ours, and then it was off to Sunday lunch at George's grandparents where we had the biggest pork joint I've ever seen! (Polite hat tip to chef Elizabeth) and now George is desperately trying to teach me how to play the piano this could be interesting...
