Langdale Pikes

First day of a photography workshop in the Lake District with Tom Mackie Images. The forecast had been for rain all day, but we woke to sunshine and had a pretty mixed bag of sunshine and light showers all day. Luckily, at each location, the weather was kind to us whilst we got our shots in!

A great start to the workshop - today we visited Thirlmere Resevoir where the reflections were amazing, Cathedral Quarry at Little Langdale and finally Langdale Pikes (with Side Pike in the foreground) where this shot was taken.

Apologies for the lack of comments over the last couple of weeks - things have been extremely busy and then away on this trip. Looking forward to catching up with your journals now i'm back!
