Wallingford

Fishing in Wallingford today in an area of river not open to the public. Unfortunately for me there is a submerged fallen tree stretching out over half way across the Thames which claimed lots of fishing tackle before I understood its contours. I had to fish so far out it was difficult to see what my float was doing escpecially when the water rippled.
I did wonder at the start why all the boats were sticking to the far bank.
